Rob Flynn from Road did a tour of a game called Occupy White Walls where you can build a gallery and put work in it that other players can interact with. It could be an alternative platform for showing work or making a collaborative piece of work between artists/studio groups. You can currently only use the game by downloading it. There are some pros and cons. Rob has created a ‘shared space’ that we can all experiment with. Josie and Rob have made replicas of Arena and Road Studios in them. Rob is thinking on contacting the makers to discuss ideas.
If you are interested in collaborating or have questions about the game you can contact Rob at Road – info@roadstudios.co.uk

See bit of discussion from the chat below…
Max Gottlieb – Sketchup is also very good and much easier to upload your own work in it. I might be interested at plotting up Liverpool galleries as I’m quick at it.
Patrick Kirk-Smith – www.artsteps.com – doesn’t need to be downloaded for visitors to use the virtual spaces – not quite the same but might be worth looking at (you can upload your own work for free too)
Rob Flynn – damn, I think that artsteps might be much more accessible. Thanks Patrick
Patrick Kirk-Smith – Doesn’t have the game aspect thought so it’s less engaging in that way
Isabel Benito-Gutierrez – A composer who is interested in collaborating with artists. She has previously worked with Ali Barker. Please contact Isabelle if you are interested in collaborating. She also has musician contacts that might be helpful.

The Facebook page recently set up for past collaborations https://www.facebook.com/incognitomcr/
More info from Ali Barker about the work she did with Isabel – Link to photos of Roland and me collaboratively creating the painting that became the score for Isabel’s composition.
The theme of the work was around different (painterly) languages gradually communicating with each other.

Tony Knox – Light Night – Open Culture – Charlotte Corrie has contacted Tony about #LightNightatHome. She said – It’s not LN, just a moment of solidarity as it were. Details here – https://lightnightliverpool.co.uk/lightnightathome/ Get in touch with Open Culture if you want to participate as there still might be an opportunity.
Margaret O’Brien would like to know if anyone can recommend local fabricators or foundaries – please contact us at LAN if you know any.
Patrick Kirk-Smith – Castle Foundry are the group that create work for the plinth in the Baltic Triangle:
Liverpool Lighthouse – is a 430 seated auditorium based in Anfield which sees dance groups, bands, choirs, theatre shows and all sorts of talent through its doors. The venue is at the heart of the community where they also run development programmes from English and employability workshops to art and cultural programmes. At present the venue has a corona virus support page on Facebook where they’re there for everyone 24/7 to help with advice and support.
But they are also currently looking for individuals to send in uplifting videos working on their skills at home, whether that be dancing, singing, poetry or pottery, anything that’s a talent – the venue just want to share positivity on their Instagram page and show that you can still do what you love from home.
