Liverpool residents take a shot at creating the city’s biggest online photography exhibition

Penny Lane, Hale head and the famous Liver birds are some of the many magnificent images featured in the online photography exhibition that looks to capture ‘Liverpool through one million eyes’ (LTOME).

The project aims gather 500,000 images of the legendary city, earning the title of Liverpool’s biggest online photography exhibition. Since the launch of LTOME in 2012 more than 1000 breath-taking shots have already been added to the online albums, taken from residents of the city and visitors of the city.

Iroro Azanuwha, Liverpool Photographer and Founder of LTOME, said “We have a city to be proud of; it is rich in culture, history and architecture. We want to encapsulate that and show it to the world.”

The scheme looks to encourage everyday people to take a shot at photography while providing a sense of pride for the people of Liverpool.

He went on to add “The photographs don’t have to be award winning or taken with state of the art cameras, we just want people to get involved and give photography a go. It can be an image of your favourite building or landmark, or even your street or Local Park.”

To have your piece shown in Liverpool’s biggest online photography image just upload your favourite picture to www.facebook.com/LTOME500000, or if you don’t have a Facebook account you can email them to ltome2012@gmail.com and they will be organised into albums.
