Background
In the wake of Liverpool’s successful year in 2008 as European Capital of Culture, St.Helens Council is working with Liverpool City Council & the other Merseyside local authority partners and funded by the 08 Legacy to link with complementary activity with key events taking place in Liverpool.
This year, Liverpool is set to host a fabulous event at the heart of the city. ‘On the Waterfront’ will take place at the Pier Head and historic Docks and celebrates the best of Liverpool – past, present and future. The On the Waterfront (8-15 September) is a celebration of all things nautical!
