CUC Liverpool is excited to announce a new collaboration with Ceri Hand Gallery that will bring key works by internationally renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso, Damien Hirst, David Hockney, Anish Kapoor, Bridget Riley and Francis Bacon to be exhibited at the Grade II listed CUC building.
Notes Towards a Supreme Fiction is a special pre-Christmas exhibition showcasing work by some of the greatest artists of the 20th and 21st Centuries, and a wide selection of original and editioned works will be available to buy, including prints, oil paintings, ceramics and a Henry Moore sculpture.
The unique exhibition will feature art works by such luminaries as Lucian Freud, Henri Matisse, Juan Miro, Jim Dine, Graham Sutherland, Roy Lichtenstein, Patrick Caulfield, Frank Auerbach, Antony Gormley, Allen Jones, Julian Opie, Joe Tilson, and Paula Rego. For art fans and collectors alike, this will be an unmissable show of the greats, all brought together under the one roof.
Established in 2008, The Ceri Hand Gallery has built a reputation as the premier commercial contemporary art gallery in Liverpool. Director Ceri Hand has a wealth of curatorial experience, excellent international and national contacts and is well-placed to offer advice on building a collection of contemporary, 20th or 21st century art.
