Come along to our taster session and see if our adult art classes are right for you. Full course will begin early in 2018.

A new approach to learning creative skills in drawing and painting. Every class is taught by two professional artists. Carol Miller and Jane Barwood are both art graduates with considerable experience in the practice, exhibiting, teaching and business of art. The different backgrounds of these two artists (Fine Art Painting and Illustration/Graphic Design) combine to provide students with solid drawing and painting skills whilst developing their own creative style, visual language and themes. Using tried and tested art-school techniques in addition to processes developed by Carol and Jane themselves, classes include skill building and creative development exercises and art history/contemporary art context and application.

The taster session will give an introduction to the course and will include drawing with textural mark-making. Beginners and more experienced artists are welcome.

Taster session will be held on Saturday 4th November 1-4pm in the ground floor Education Room of The World of Glass.

Limited places available so please book early.
