On the Edge of…is an exhibition from Textile 21, a group of artists from the North West of England who work with fabric and textiles to create detailed individual works.
extile 21 is a thriving North West contemporary textile group which has staged a number of successful exhibitions throughout the area. Members come from a variety of backgrounds but all share a common passion – textiles. Their aim is to produce and exhibit high quality, innovative, creative work of a professional standard.
The group meets monthly and comes together for artistic support and the sharing of the various tasks involved in publicising and mounting exhibitions. They occasionally run workshops or take part in study days in order to further their artistic development.
