The work will be on display during the cafe’s opening hours on Saturday 19th until after the Christmas period.

Superhuman

Is a public exhibition exploring the christmas concept of god becoming human. Artists examine the Christmas narrative, visually pondering what & who god should be like, who deserves our worship & what our human capabilities are.

WHO?

All artists are Liverpool based & represent a variety of disciplines including painting, installation, knitting, print-making, photography & film. The exhibition will be curated by Rev’d Laura Pasterfield & is in conjunction with River in the City & Baltic Blessings & Kensington Community Gospel Choir.

WHEN?
The work will be on display during the cafe’s opening hours on Saturday 19th until after the Christmas period but additionally, the public are invited to attend the events below:

Friday 18th December – OPENING NIGHT
6pm – 8pm
Mulled wine & mince pies will be on offer with All Saints Community Gospel Choir carol singing. Invite your friends!

Saturday 19th December – OPEN FORUM
1 – 3pm
Informal public discussion hosted by Keith Hitchman presenter of the Open Minds Series, Bay TV. The forum will explore the theme of the exhibition; Human & Divine.

Sunday 20th December – MINDFUL MEDITATION
1 – 2pm
All are welcome to join in with this mindfulness meditation which will draw upon the themes expressed in the Super human Exhibition – guided by Laura Pasterfield
