AN INSTRUMENT OF DELIRIUM is an endeavour between multi-disciplinary artists Jessica Povall and Niamh Tam. Which touches on girlhood and the monstrous-feminine. The upcoming show is the pair’s collaborative effort of screaming into the void.
Niamh Tam aims to challenge the pre-conceived notions of identity and grotesque viewers in her plight of visualising trauma through the trials and tribulations of womanhood. Working in a similar practice, Jessica Povall’s work comes from a personal narration; collecting life events and using materials to symbolise her experience of being a woman.
