SUMMARY:The Royal Standard: The Royal Standard: An Instrument of Delirium
DESCRIPTION:AN INSTRUMENT OF DELIRIUM is an endeavour between multi-discipl
 inary artists Jessica Povall and Niamh Tam. Which touches on girlhood and
 the monstrous-feminine. The upcoming show is the pair’s collaborative ef
 fort of screaming into the void.\n\nNiamh Tam aims to challenge the pre-co
 nceived notions of identity and grotesque viewers in her plight of visuali
 sing trauma through the trials and tribulations of womanhood. Working in a
  similar practice\, Jessica Povall’s work comes from a personal narratio
 n\; collecting life events and using materials to symbolise her experience
  of being a woman.\n\nYou can find more about both artists practices via t
 heir websites and social media’s niamhtam.com and jessicapovall.unive
 r.se\n\nWe invite you to come along on Thursday 19th October 6-9pm for the
  private view
