Bootle Library: The Colour of Pomegranates: Adult Birthday Party! – Bootle
Date: 14.2.26
Time: 10:30 - 12:30
Location: Bootle Library, 220 Stanley Road, Liverpool, L20 3EN
For this month’s Colour of Pomegranates, Associate Artist Dora Colqhoun will lead a children’s birthday party for adults!
Saturday 14th February
10:30am – 12:30pm
Women only
Reflecting on the different ways we celebrate around the world, Dora will lead us through some birthday party classics like musical chairs, pass the parcel and musical statues.
Dora is an artist and theatre-maker and will be working with us over the next year with our sanctuary seeking communities in Bootle.
The Colour of Pomegranates is a relaxed creative space for sanctuary-seeking women to connect with each other and local women through conversation and creativity. A social space to find solidarity, friendship and company, open to all women.
We welcome fluent English-speaking women who would like to volunteer with the project, offering newly arrived women the opportunity to practice their conversational English in a fun and informal way.
