Take part in activities that celebrate opportunities for women in the arts sector
Open Eye Gallery as part of LOOK Photo Biennial host a week of free talks and workshops around the themes of mentorship and facilitation of opportunities for women in the arts sector. Featuring talks, workshops, projections and a display of work by women in photography, music, literature and business.
The programme includes:
A symposium and a day of mentorship workshops by photographers and academics, Anna Fox and Karen Knorr.
A talk about commissioning women artists with Art Director Anne McNeill.
Workshops about women and poetry with Dr Pauline Rowe.
A shared discussion between a number of key business women and musicians unpacking how they work together to provide a platform for other women.
