Tate Liverpool
Saturday 17 October 2015, 16.00 – 21.00
Join us for Pollock After Dark.
This is your last opportunity to see our special exhibition Jackson Pollock: Blind Spots before it closes on 18 October.
Our galleries will be staying open until 21.00 (last tickets on sale from 20.00) to ensure everyone who wants to see this magnificent exhibition has the opportunity to do so.
Make the most of your visit and enjoy our Jackson Pollock Jazz Evening back due to popular demand on for one night only! Local jazz pianist David Fishel and his band will be performing a vibrant mix of early jazz inspired by Pollock’s music collection.
Tickets for the Jazz evening are just £20 each (£10 Tate Members) inclusive of a complementary drink and entry to the exhibition. In addition, we’ll be serving a selection of delectable sharing platters and nibbles to enjoy whilst listening to the band.
Those of you with little ones, join us from 16.00 – 19.00 and take part in our FREE family activity Action Stations. Learn more about artist Jackson Pollock and create your own mini masterpieces to take home.
Don’t forget kids eat free in the Tate Liverpool Café!
Tate Liverpool’s shop will be open during the evening, stocking a range of gifts, merchandise and books inspired by the exhibition. We’ll have a pay bar in the foyer and our display of the national collection of modern and contemporary art, Constellations, will also be open later until 19.00 for visitors to enjoy.
We hope that you can join us on this special evening.
