Simon Armitage will respond to the theme of the An Imagined Museum exhibition by reading selections from his work.
Armitage has published over a dozen collections of poetry including, most recently, Paper Aeroplane. His residencies and commissions include poems for Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Tate Modern.
This summer, he published a best-selling memoir Walking Away. Simon Armitage was recently elected Professor of Poetry at Oxford University.
LJMU Writers’ Workshop runs three of the UK’s most highly rated Creative Writing degrees and hosts a lively series of public author events.
