Using as inspiration her familiar themes of the coast, water and light, for this exhibition Jo has focused on her emotional and physical reactions to landscapes in the Wirral, the South coast and further afield.
Finding myriad connections within all the landscapes she has visited, she has brought together a series of pictures that at once reflect and represent the way she was moved by them all. Always an artist compelled to paint for the feeling of expression, this latest series has subtly expanded Jo’s palette, while retaining some of the tones and tropes she is well known for.
