PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE: BENEATH THE SURFACE

23 JANUARY – 23 JANUARY 2019

TICKETS — £20

Tutors Kevin Crooks and Declan Connolly will be running a themed photography course over two sessions: ‘Beneath the Surface’.

What is the difference between painted brick and a slick marble building, a gravel path and a grassy hill? We can shape a more captivating narrative through focussing on surfaces to describe what might be behind.

The first session takes place on 23 January and is a practical tutorial/open conversation around how to create mood, character and narrative through creative uses of shutterspeed, aperture and ISO. The course is tailored to be accessible to all skill levels — from beginner to practicing photographer. At the end of the first session, we will set a brief, to be completed before the next meeting.
