A great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of calligraphy.You will learn how to use a range of pens including ink dip, bamboo and cartridge pens; measure for perfect calligraphy; draw freestyle calligraphy.
Carol Ramsay is a local artist who spent 20 years working as an illustrator, calligrapher, portrait and caricaturist. After returning to college for a degree and then MA in Fine Art, progressed to making installation and public engagement work before diversifying into altered book sculptures and paper cut work. Carol has exhibited nation-wide as well as in New York & Sweden since 2009.
The years of experience pay off and make Carols workshops interesting, informative and lots of fun.
