Following huge success at Unlimited Festival at the Southbank Centre (London) in September 2018, arts organisation Metal and Associate Producer Kate Marsh present a selection of performances in development by artists; Sarah Blanc, Vicky Malin, Kimberley Harvey and Hamish MacPherson, Rowan James, Gareth Cutter and Gemma Nash.
The evening will include film screenings, dance, live soundscapes, spoken word and participatory performances exploring the ‘Othered’ body, and the space ‘in-between’ the binaries. It promises to be an eclectic mix of occupation, performance, mess, musings, cups of tea, glitter, and protest.
The new work is the culmination of 18 months of development LABs and artist residencies at Metal in Liverpool, Southend and Peterborough working with 24 UK based artists.
The event is generously supported by Arts Council England through its Change Makers programme.
