Liverpool School of Art and Design are proud to host one of just a handful of public lectures that legendary designer, Lance Wyman is giving in the UK this spring, as part of the Masters Public Lecture Series.
US designer Lance Wyman is famed for his work on the Mexico 68 Olympics, which is widely celebrated as a pinnacle of environmental and branding design.
For five decades Lance has specialised in designing systems for cities, events, institutions and transit systems, and has helped define the field of environmental graphics.
He also teaches corporate and wayfinding design at Parsons School of Design NYC where he has been a visiting lecturer since 1973.
This lecture has been organised in collaboration with Unit Editions, the publishers of his recent monograph.
