Studio 6? is an exhibition of digital image, sound, painting, installation and sculpture. The works pull together research into neuroqueer perspectives in the context of AI, ADHD’s distraction and dispersed attention as a production method, the interconnected slipperiness of hearing and speaking language, the materiality of debris, and performative forms of political address.
Alongside deepening their disciplinary skills, the artists have experimented with interdisciplinary methods of production to hone their unique approaches to practice, incorporating aspects of theatre making with painting, experimental writing with performance techniques, and AI collaboration with game play.
A selection of works by MA Fine Art’s 2024 graduating cohort are on public display this July. Join us at Studio 6? to celebrate their achievements and experience new thinking from part of Liverpool’s next generation of contemporary artists.
