Latin American Artists Exhibition: A Celebration of Latin American Art and Identity

As part of this year’s La Feria, Liverpool’s annual celebration of Latin American arts and culture, Luma Creations presents a striking visual art exhibition at the Stables Gallery, located within the iconic St George’s Hall Visitor Centre. Running from 1st to 31st October 2025, the exhibition is free to attend and promises to be a powerful and thought-provoking exploration of identity, memory and culture.

This carefully curated exhibition brings together an inspiring group of Latin American artists living and working in the UK, each of whom has created artwork in response to the 2025 festival theme: “Experience • Celebrate • Belong.” Through this lens, the artists reflect on the many layers of cultural identity, touching on heritage, migration, resistance, joy and the complex notion of belonging in today’s world.

Audiences will encounter a rich array of styles and perspectives, from intimate personal reflections to bold and imaginative interpretations. Whether honouring ancestral roots or exploring diasporic narratives, these works offer a vibrant and diverse representation of contemporary Latin American creativity.

With artists of heritage from across the Latin American continent, the exhibition reveals the multiplicity of lived experience within Latinx communities in the UK. Visitors are invited not only to view the work but to engage with the stories behind it, gaining insight into both the artists’ personal journeys and their broader cultural significance.

The exhibition will run Monday to Saturday, from 9:30am to 5:00pm (last entry 4:45pm). It is an ideal addition to your cultural calendar – a reflective, moving, and visually captivating space to discover the many threads that bind Latin American identity and artistic expression.
