Drawing and Printing Workshops with Artist Anthony Ratcliffe
To complement his new exhibition at Kirkby Gallery, artist Anthony Ratcliffe will be leading a series of one-day workshops centred around the themes of the ‘Of Time and Tide’ series of artworks.
Each workshop will run at Kirkby Gallery from 10.30am-3.30pm
The cost is £30 per person, per session
There will be a short break for lunch, for which people are advised to bring something with them. Aprons are recommended for the print sessions.
Drawing Workshop
Thursday 12 September & Thursday 19 September
Learn how to create beautifully detailed drawings, inspired by personal memories and the emotions associated with places that we know and visit.
Woodcut Printing Workshop
Thursday 26 September & Friday 4 October
Inspired by landscape and memory, be guided through the process of woodcut printing and make your own series of unique prints to take home.
Anthony Ratcliffe: Of Time and Tide Walk & Talk

Join the artist and printmaker Anthony Ratcliffe on an in depth discovery of his work methods and inspirations. Enjoy seeing the exhibition through the artist’s perspective and have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about Anthony’s techniques. Advance booking is essential for this event.
