On the 18th October 2018, Independents Biennial 2018 is hosting a closing party for artists, audiences and collaborators from 6-10pm. From 2-4pm on the day of the event, one of the artists from Disparity Collective will be leading a guided photography tour of George Henry Lee’s, ahead of a display of new work and book launch from 6pm.

Join us during the day for a guided photography tour of the building with Disparity Collective’s Mark Hobbs, to discover parts of the building with stories that have been untold for years. Mark Hobbs will be on hand to provide guidance and ideas as we look around this fascinating historic building with memories for hundreds of thousands of people.

All levels of photographer all welcome, and while you will need to provide your own camera, this can be anything from a smart phone to a handmade pinhole camera.

Bring own camera – any camera will do, DSLR, Film, Mobile phone
Max 10 people on tour – please reserve a place through eventbrite

  • Under 18s policy: 13-18’s must be accompanied by an adult. Sadly we are not allowed any under 13s in these areas unless babies in slings or back-carriers.
  • The tour will involve stairs and areas with uneven floors and low doors. You will undertake the tour at your own risk and liability.
  • Photos taken on the day are for personal use only and cannot be used for sale, profit or professional purposes of any kind please.
