Museum Of Liverpool: Currents of Change photography display
Date: 10.5.26 - 31.8.26
Time: 00:00
Location: Museum Of Liverpool, Pier Head, Liverpool Waterfront, Liverpool, L3 1DG
Join us for the launch of Currents of Change, a participatory display in which twelve Liverpool residents explore their lived relationships with the city’s waterfront. Through their own photographs and words, participants tell stories of migration, labour, memory and environmental change along Liverpool’s docks and shores.
The display is part of Liminal Waterway Countercultures, a Europe-wide research project exploring how communities across the continent live with and around water in times of ecological and social crisis.
This launch event features live performances from Blue Saint, André Jahoni and Amina Atiq, alongside contributions from participants themselves.
You can see the Currents of Change photography display on the Museum of Liverpool atrium screen from 10 May until 31 August 2026.
