Crosby Library: Drop in sessions: The Kitchen Table Collective

Dates: 17/11/2021 - 26/11/2021
Times: All Day

For two weeks this November Crosby Library’s Music Room will become a pop up ceramics production space, where you can sign up to make plates, cups and serving dishes, as we work with artist Aliyah Hussain to create a full dinner service for communal use in Sefton libraries for future feasts, lunches and dinners together.

During 6 days of workshops, we’ll learn different hand building and decorating techniques, whilst working together to create a spectacular set of crockery. Each day will focus on a different part of the dinner service: plates, cups, bowls, utensils and platters.

Booking is essential for these sessions. Sessions run in the mornings and the afternoons. You are welcome to book for either, or to stay all day and spend some time on self-directed making in the afternoons. You can book for as many sessions as you like. Please let us know when you plan on coming by emailing humanlibraries@gmail.com, or message/text/WhatsApp: 07751240427.

Hot drinks and fruit will be provided but please bring a packed lunch if you’d like to stay for the day.
