Liverpool MakeFest, the north-west’s biggest, FREE, family friendly festival celebrating all things ‘makey’ is back!

With over a 200 makers showcasing science, technology, creations, inventions and gadgets and hands-on activities, workshops and demonstrations including, coding, hacking and robotics… PLUS the fabulous Mersey ComicCon taking over the first floor this year too we’re looking to make this year’s event the best ever!

It’s a place to see how science, technology, engineering, arts and crafts are shaping our world… a place where science fiction meets science fact… a place to get you thinking and learning about cool stuff you could make yourself and maybe inspire a few budding young entrepreneurs!

You can expect to see robots, drones, wearable tech, 3D scanners, 3D printers, laser cutters & crafting in abundance and there’ll be opportunities for you to;

Fly a drone
Grab a selfie a with droid or stormtroopers
Build and code underwater robots
3D scan your own head
Try your hand at some fun science
Enter the Mersey ComicCon cosplay competition
Explore the world of 3D printing and laser cutting

Get to grips with Raspberry Pi
Explore virtual 3D worlds
Make things with Arduino
