Discover the Art of Japanese Handmade Prints. Immerse yourself in the ancient Japanese art of Suminagashi, which translates to ‘Ink Floating’. This unique workshop, provided by Vicki at VA Studio in Liverpool, offers hands-on experience in creating stunning handmade prints. This is a beginner workshop, so no experience is required.
Workshop tutor Vicki’s journey with Marble Art began at the renowned Granby Workshop, a Turner Prize winner in 2015. After mastering the craft and producing exquisite marbled prints for Granby Workshop, Vicki founded VA Studio. Today, VA Studio is a hub for learning Suminagashi, Marble art, and other innovative printmaking techniques. Group sessions are available, please get in touch for further details about the workshop. Especially, if you want to book private group/corporate or one to one sessions. You can specify whether you want to Marble on other surfaces/materials: Paper (standard), Wood, Leather ,Fabric or Metal.
Cancellations: There may be circumstances in which we need to cancel the Workshop. In such circumstances, we will provide you with a full refund of the amount of the workshop fee that you have paid to us and we will make every effort to provide you with such refund within 14 days of the date of cancellation. If you wish to cancel after making a payment, please get in touch with Vicki as soon as possible. The sooner the better, this will allow time to recruit another participant to join the workshop.
