Stab-Stitch book workshop with Elizabeth Willow

11am – 4pm. in the Sandon Room at the Bluecoat
Tickets £55 (£50 bdc friends or concs) including all materials and a light lunch
Spend a day delighting in paper and stitch, making your own elegant books to use as sketchbooks, notebooks or journals.
Through simple folding, cutting and sewing techniques, you will create two hand-made books, one soft- and one hard-bound, using decorative Japanese stab-stitches and working with beautiful papers and threads.
Elizabeth uses paper and other materials to create artist’s books, sculptures and installations. Her Glimpses and Reflections exhibition is shown In the Window at the Display Centre throughout August.
