In a Government hate crime report that was conducted in 2017/18, figures showed that Trans and Queer hate crime are not only the least recorded, but these attacks have risen by 12% since 2013. Race hate crimes and attacks were at the top of this study with a shocking 72% increase.

With a panel of artists, activists and speakers on whose identities are more than just their gender, sexual-preferences, and race, this event is about celebrating who we are and what makes us! Join speakers, Mandla Rae, Felix Mufti, Akira Jeffers, Craig Adams and Iesha Palmer, as they untangle the subject of intersectionality, LGBTQi+ hate crimes, and talk about their experiences of being people of colour and part of the LGBTQi+ community.

This event is in partnership with Homotopia.
