Painting

I started Airbrushing three years ago and I am self taught. My art is a combination of brush work and airbrush using acrylics. I studied art and design, graphic design and sign writing at liverpool community college. The work and dedication I have put in to my painting has shown through during the three years that I have disciplined myself at this medium.
I enjoy creating photo realistic portrait work and find it the most challenging of the arts, I have found black/white and sepia one of my favourite ways of communicating. My subjects are who I find most visually interesting to paint which also tend to be the greats of music and film.

I recently had my work shown on the Paul O’ Grady TV show and also sold some of my early work in an auction to raise money for the marie curie cancer care centre. One of my paintings will hopefully be on display at John Lennon’s Airport and I had a space at the Adelphi hotel on convention day over the Mathew street festival, where I showed my work, while giving people the opportunity to watch me paint.
