I have an MA in Fine Art Contemporary Practice from Falmouth University, completed in 2012.  My BA (Hons) in Visual Art was gained in 2010 in Ireland with DIT’s innovative programme on Sherkin Island in West Cork.  My art practice is mostly figurative, sculptural as well as 2-D, with multimedia elements. I’ve been based in Merseyside since late 2018. My work forms part of private collections in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Norway and the USA. I write about art for this terrific journal, Art in Liverpool. In addition to my art practice in Ireland, I was also co-Director of the West Cork Literary Festival, which I helped expand to become one of Ireland’s leading cultural events. Prior to my time in Ireland, I lived in Spain where I worked as a freelance journalist, photographer and documentary filmmaker.  I am a fluent Spanish speaker.
