Statement
Gabrielle Caul is a visual artist whose work is informed by an engagement with regenerated urban areas. She uses geometric forms to depict urbanisation, exploring the relationships and tensions found between structural forms.

Gabrielle Caul presents an abstract expression, responding to the vibrancy of urban locations. Contrast is used within her colour palette to capture the emergence of the new urban landscape from the industrial past.

Gabrielle Caul’s preferred medium is paint. She also works in collage, using it as a means of expression and also as a creative medium to inform her paintings.
