Stephen Cain BA (Hons) is a northwest of England based artist primarily using paint as a main medium. The work ranges from abstract representation to straight landscape and occasionally figurative work. His images explore the use of paint, printmaking and pencil to practice the skill of each medium and create a setting or atmosphere through which the viewer can interpret their own narrative and mood.
Also being a teacher/lecturing and leading sessions at community, college and university level in the north west of England. Teaching/lecturing on a variety of subjects ranging from: life drawing, painting, printmaking, delivering technical instruction in Fine art painting and combining practical teaching with theory. Myrtle Street gallery 2002 and 2006 Liverpool biennial 2002 Jump ship rat 2002 Egg Cafe 2003 Unique designs 2003-2004-2005 Stephen also has work featured at The Squire Gallery, Wiltshire, England as a part of their permanent collection. |
