Karen is also known as Aphrodite Art, a name inspired by her love of Greek mythology, with the Greek goddess Aphrodite also being an influence on a series of mythical ladies seen in her artwork.

Her work is sold not only locally but internationally, but Karen also works as a freelance art teacher in North West England.

Aphrodite Art designs and delivers a range of art based workshops in Merseyside and its surrounding areas, with a wealth of experience as an educator that includes:

– Teaching the primary curriculum
– Leading creative educational sessions in schools, galleries, museums and community centres for children and adults
– Experience of working with those who have learning difficulties, English as an additional language & mental healh issues
– Experience of working with all ages from children to the elderly
