WHERE LOVE IS ILLEGAL
16 NOV – 17 FEB / LAUNCH NIGHT: 15 NOV, 6-8PM / RSVP HERE.
For Homotopia Festival 2018, Open Eye Gallery presents Wake up Together, a photography exhibition championing the rights of every person to love who they want and respectfully live as they wish.
Launching 15th of November, the exhibition features the first UK showing of a series of the late Ren Hang’s work. His photos play upon our sense of touch and the way that our bodies interact, both with our surroundings and each other. Where Love Is Illegal, led by Robin Hammond, shares stories from people who are surviving punishment and oppression to live and to love.
