Workshop on Collaborative Practice – with Laurence Payot
From viewers to participants to collaborators, how do people inform and become part of an artist practice?
A hands-on afternoon of collaborative drawings, in-situ actions, and group sculpture making, with artist Laurence Payot.
Laurence Payot works with communities to create large collective events and objects that respond to and engage with specific places. By taking part, people are given tools to connect with other people and experience their everyday lives from an out-of-the ordinary perspective.
During this workshop, she’ll explore her methods for engaging and collaborating in a studio context, linking the participants, the site, and objects found on site to experiment with drawing and sculpture.
