Ceramic Rock
Two Views at View Two. 27 – 28 March 2009
This exhibition of ceramics by Janet Holmes was only at View Two for a couple of days. she was in the gallery working on a piece this afternoon and last night there was a music performance by Dean Johnson responding to the shapes and the space.
All the works are nice rounded shapes but I also like the fact that they are not glazed, the texture of the 3 different clays used are a real feature of the work.
You can see more on the website:
Art in Liverpool was established in 2004 to support artists and artist-led space, and has spent the last two decades seeking to share news and events on an equal platform for the biggest institutions and smallest start ups.
The new login function for the site allows two roles:
No profiles, but your submissions will link to any live page dedicated to your gallery (for freelance producers, it will be easier to set up an artist profile – there is an artform box that allows you to assign Producer as your role).
This new feature is in addition to whole new website, and is very much is BETA. All entries will be live.
Cost: free. As with everything from Art in Liverpool, we’re here to support the art world. This doesn’t cost us anything, so it shouldn’t cost you anything.
Ownership: You, the artist or producer, own the rights to your work, and we will never sell any of your content. By uploading to www.artinliverpool.com you agree that Art in Liverpool C.I.C. can share your stories, but with the assurance that it will be given with full credit, and links to your own social media or websites if you have them.
