SATURDAY 7 August 2010 from 19:30 onwards at Wolstenholme Creative Space
Warp Films are distributing Harmony Korine’s Trash Humpers and there is an upcoming date in Liverpool. The WOLSTENHOLME screening is one of a series of screenings Warp Films are doing in the North, which is a lo-fi trashy TV screening. This consists of several old beat-up TV’s all connected together to screen the film simultaneously. We’ll be screening from a VHS tape and there’ll be a suitably strange band play afterwards.
It will then be available on DVD and download via www.warpfilmstore.com from 20 September.
It’s receiving lots of attention in the media:
‘like no film you have seen before’ – The Times
‘riveting beyond all rationality’ – Variety
‘like a punch in the gut’ – Little White Lies
‘Like wiping your eyeballs with shit’ – Total Film
And creating a lot of debate on forums – have a look at the Facebook page if you get a chance. Visit the Facebook page by clicking here
