Overall I loved putting together the map for the art after dark event, I worked with Make CIC to take into account feedback, next steps and recommendations and I think it turned out really well!
I loved discovering my local community of creatives and learnt so much about different creatives and their practices as well as local studios, businesses and organisations that are on my own doorstep! It was an absolutely lovely evening and has really reignited my love for my local community and hometown.
The opportunity for developing the map for the event has led to new collaborations with people who have recognized my illustrative style – soon to be announced! It has also got my creative side excited to work on some fun new projects in collaboration with local organisations as well as other creatives who I met on the night! all still in development of course!
