Port Sunlight Photographer of the Year – Enter the 2024 competition

To celebrate the upcoming British Press Photographers’ Association exhibition Assignments 2024 coming to Port Sunlight between 8 June – 1 September, PSVT is excited to launch the Port Sunlight Photographer of the Year competition.

Entries will be judged by international press photographers Paul Ellis and Bruce Adams, with the winners featuring in a new Port Sunlight calendar. Photographers of all levels of experience are invited to submit their snaps taken in and around this special village.

The competition is open for entries until Monday 15 April, 11.30am (GMT).

Read on for information and tips to help you with your entry into the Port Sunlight Photographer of the Year competition. Be sure to also read the rules before submitting your photos. Good luck!

Entry fee

The entry fee for the competition is £15. This fee is only payable online here.

Entries will not be accepted after the closing date of Monday 15 April 2024, 11.30am (GMT).

Why is there an entry fee?

Income from entries to the competition is vital to funding the smooth running of the competition, and the production of the Port Sunlight annual photographic calendar.

The money raised from both the competition and calendar sales will support the maintenance of Port Sunlight’s monuments, including the Boating Pond and War Memorial.

Port Sunlight Village Trust is a registered charity working to preserve and promote Port Sunlight, with an aim to make the village an inspiring place to live, work and visit for everyone. We have ambitions to grow the Port Sunlight Photographer of the Year competition by reaching new audiences and raising awareness of Port Sunlight’s special beauty, unique heritage and thriving community.
