Opportunity for Visual Street Artists in Garston, Liverpool

Opportunity for Visual Street Artists in Garston, Liverpool

This is a unique opportunity for street / graffiti artists to create a piece of work inside a temporary space shop in Garston. Once complete, the work will remain on the walls of the space for an exhibition.

East Street Arts are looking for 10 artists to spend 1 day, from 10 am to 5 pm illustrating boards in an interior area of an old shop that is being repurposed as a base for artists in the Garston area.  The day for this spray paint extravaganza is Friday 30th September.

You will be provided with a panelled area of MDF material to complete the work on.  The area of each panel will be 8ft x 8ft. We can only accommodate 10 artists so please respond promptly to this opportunity.

This is an opportunity to try out a new idea, restyle an old favourite or show off your skills.  It’s up to you.  There is no brief, but we ask that work does not contain strongly offensive elements as when we show the work to the public, children will be present.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

East Street Arts will then keep the art work on the walls for a period of time and enable the public to view the work at some point to be arranged.

A fee of £100.00 for expenses for each artist will be paid on the day.

To apply please send by the 19th September, your full contact details, and a brief description of your art experience to date. A few photos will be useful (small files only please) to
