Lancaster Arts is seeking a freelancer with curatorial expertise to support our upcoming spring exhibition, Serial Dissenter with artist Tony Heaton OBE at the Peter Scott Gallery.
Lancaster Arts (LA) is a combined arts organisation featuring a contemporary arts programme within the portfolio of Arts Council England through presentations, commissions and arts sector support. Our theme for 2026 is Dissent and this exhibition will explore Heaton’s career and practice through the lens of this theme.
This high-profile exhibition (early February to the end of March) will need additional support from a freelancer with a track record in exhibition project management. This will focus on both the logistical support required and curatorial oversight of the installation and work closely with the Lancaster Arts team. We have only just received confirmation of funding to support the exhibition.
