Cultural Passport Coordinator
£20,000 3.5 days (£28,571 pro rata (plus pension))
3.5 days a week, fixed term contract for two years, subject to future funding.
Blackpool has been awarded Place Partnership funding through Arts Council England to support Blackpool’s vision and roadmap to UK’s ‘Coastal Capital of Creativity’. As part of this a Cultural Passport, for young people aged between 11-25years, will be developed in consultation with young people, enabling multi-layered access to creative and cultural experiences, linking up with a wide range of cultural venues, organisations and creative individuals in Blackpool and beyond.
The Cultural Passport Coordinator will coordinate the mapping of assets and resources, consultation sessions with young people, work with a digital content designer to develop the platform. The Coordinator will co-develop events for children and young people in connection with the Cultural Passport and LCEP. They will be the face of the Cultural Passport through promotion and advocacy across various streams including the education system, businesses and community organisations. This role will also conduct data collection, analysis and evaluation and provide the administrative function for the LCEP group.
We are looking for a proactive and passionate individual, who pays attention to detail and enjoys a varied workload. This post may be suitable for someone from an arts, education or marketing background.

Job description and person specification

- The theatre reserves the right to re-advertise the position if no suitable candidate is found.
Shortlisting
- A scoring sheet is created based on the criteria set out in the person specification.
- A short-listing panel will select the candidates for interview using these criteria.
Interview(s)
- For most positions, interviews will be held as soon as practical. A first Interview may be held by TEAMS / Zoom (Gte a free version of teams here).
- A second interview will be held 1-2 weeks later (if required, usually Full time positions).
- A third interview will be held 1-2 weeks following this (if required, usually manager and senior positions).
- Interviews will be carried out by an interview panel who have been selected due to their knowledge and understanding of the department and job role that is being recruited for. Interview panels will usually include the department manager/head.
- Interviews will not be carried out by a single staff member.
- Interviews will be scored using a scoring sheet.
- Following an interview, it can take up to 14 days for a decision to be made (candidates will be informed if it is going to take longer).

- Where possible, successful candidates will be notified by phone or email.
- Unsuccessful candidates will be notified by email.
