Creative Venue Technician Apprentice
Contract type: Fixed Term – 24 Months – 40 hours per week
18 months experience and training, plus 6 month assessment period.
Start Date: 13 January 2020
Salary: £16,016 year 1 / £17,076.80 year 2

The Lowry working together with other Manchester based venues and under the guidance of the Creative Venue Technician Apprenticeship Scheme are offering this fantastic opportunity to work alongside our experienced technical team in delivering our productions.
We are looking for a highly motivated and well organised individual who has excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a team player and an avid interest in live theatre
During the two year apprenticeship scheme you will be able to have hands-on experience in all disciplines within technical theatre including Lighting, Sound, Audio Visual, Rigging, Stage and Counterweight Flying. The scheme gives you the opportunity to earn a competitive wage whilst learning and working towards a nationally recognised professional qualification in your chosen career path.
