We are looking for a creative person to join the Arts Team and support the development of a range of innovative arts programmes across the borough. The Creative Industries Assistant will provide day-to-day support for the Arts team and be a first point of contact and information resource to customers and partners of the Arts team. Alongside project support to Cheshire Rural Touring Arts and the officers of the Arts team.

The role will support arts development initiatives that contribute to the cultural landscape across Cheshire. A key role will be supporting the Arts Team with ongoing project development and delivery and ensuring a smooth administration service. Alongside being a first point of call for providing information and advice; and improving awareness of information for artists and those interested in participating in the arts.
We are interested in working with a person with a keen interest in and understanding of the Arts, who has good organisational, communication and customer service skills. The role includes supporting the Cheshire Rural Touring Arts programme with preparing publicity material and co-ordinating with promoters and artists, alongside supporting performance management by collecting and reporting on appropriate data. Other key responsibilities include facilitating the financial transactions for programmes, maintaining databases, mailing lists and distribution systems to ensure accuracy of the information, in accordance with GDPR requirements.
