Welcome to the Seasonality of the Anthropocene project!

Seasonality in the Anthropocene is a new initiative that brings together artists and environmental researchers to co-create artistic works exploring how seasons are changing, and what these changes mean for us. Through this collaboration, we aim to bridge environmental art, activism, and academia, opening new avenues for communicating and advocating for climate and environmental action while (re)discovering the deep interconnectedness of humans and nature.

We’d love to hear your artistic idea on what changing ‘seasonality’ means to you.

We are looking for proposals that:

(1) Represents shifting seasons in the Anthropocene and what it means to you or your community

(2) Have a strong element of art-science collaboration (but we’re not necessarily looking for people with prior experience!)

Please read through our information deck before applying.

You will find it helpful to have a look at the recording of our information session as well: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-khNIReECiE7Z2T8rWrlcd4sFKDtKoSW/view
