A new Lost Voices season of heartfelt musical invention opens with another great eclectic line-up.
Excellent UK-French quartet combining jazz improvisation with a gritty underground edge– ‘Powerful sound collisions and moments of spine-tingling stillness combine with influences from gamelan music, musique concrète, experimental rock and electronica.’
Phil Morton
“When the tide goes out the rocks are revealed”
Local artist Phil Morton presents this audio travelogue featuring the tide, the guitar, with accidents and treatments.
Great songs and arrangements from Reid Anderson in a new acoustic line-up with piano, guitar & celloÂ
Promoting the spirit of the eclectic, Lost Voices nights are an intoxicating blend of the strange, the wonderful and the strangely familiar.
In May 2012 we celebrated our fifth birthday and we are still going strong. Over the years we have presented musicians from Lithuania, London, Catalonia, Berlin as well as hosting a variety of Liverpool’s finest; local luminaries such as Stealing Sheep, Bird and Dead Belgian alongside visits from Bill Drake, Trevor Watts, Seaming To, Alina Orlova and Simone Lambreghts.
For each night we put together a blend of artists always trying to mix and match and follow our instincts…
Regular nights are the last Thursday of the month at View Two Gallery, a hidden gem of a venue in the heart of Liverpool’s Cavern quarter.
