Jo Bywater comments:Â ‘I paint acrylic on canvas. I’m very influenced by comic artwork and bold bright colours, I paint mainly in a surrealist style’ .
There’s a lot of symbolism, earthy and spiritual emphasis in my paintings. I like to take feelings and dreams and create an image of varying depths that the viewer can go into and explore/escape.
