Outsiders View, is a month long exhibition by Henry Woodley at Unit 51 in the Baltic Triangle of Liverpool.
Outsiders view is a subjective view of contemporary Japan looking at the world as a ‘gaijin’ or ‘outsider’ and how this beautiful country can change from the serene islands of Miyake-jima to the neon inner city of Tokyo.
Through these images there is a sense of discovery and wonderment, they aren’t merely street photographs, but rather a passionate and very involved snapshot of life.
Prints and copies of my zine ‘Outsiders View’ will be available for sale on the night, however it is cash only. (Price lists will be available nearer to the date and will be posted to the Facebook event page).
