The Needle’s Eye at The Glass Factory, Sparling Street, Liverpool, with special performances from Aimee Johnston, Emma Curd and Cahal Argue beginning at 18.30.
The Needle’s Eye is an exhibition of final work produced from the Liverpool John Moores University MA Fine Art graduates of 2014 and 2015. Previous exhibits of work in development include tAPPED at The Royal Standard, Stick-Up at the John Lennon Art and Design Building and For Immediate Release at Static Gallery.
The Needle’s Eye is located within the old Pilkington glass factory situated in the Baltic Triangle of Liverpool, a space once used for production in an area that in recent years has found itself in a state of regeneration and gentrification. Acknowledging the specifity of the space, the artists bring their geographical context to the forefront of their work by exhibiting their own personal developments through a variety of media.
