This Christmas, Liverpool Art Fair: Print Edition, will take place at the city’s most celebrated new arts venue, Camp and Furnace, in the Baltic Triangle. Over the weekend of the 15th and 16th of December, a wide selection of locally produced original and limited edition prints; from linocuts and etchings to photographs and screenprints, will be on show and for sale at affordable prices.
The first Liverpool Art Fair took place in June 2012, and showcased the work of over 70 artists, selected from over 200 submissions. Hundreds of visitors visited over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend to celebrate the wealth of talent in the region, and many are now the proud owners of their own piece of the Liverpool art world.
The Print Edition will be showcasing the work of over 30 visual artists working and / or living within a 25 mile radius of Liverpool and producing prints in a diverse range of styles and media. They were chosen from an open submission process by a selection panel made up of: Laura Davies, Arts Editor of the Liverpool Post, Jason Jones, Fine Artist and Gallery Manager at The Cornerstone Gallery, Felicity Wren, Fine Artist and Owner at the Domino Gallery, and Ian Richards, Manager, Camp and Furnace.
All the work on show will be for sale and priced under £150, making this a fantastic opportunity to buy unique Christmas presents and support local artists and designers at the same time.
Opening times:
Saturday 15th December: 12-6pm
Sunday 16th December: 12-8pm
Location:
Camp and Furnace, 67 Greenland Street, Liverpool L1 0BY
